Si on trouve certaines limites d'expressivité dans le strumming (jeu rythmique), il reste plaisant pour peu qu'on le travaille : La vitesse de grattage des cordes, la force de l'aléatoire, le choix des samples, la présence des bruits (strokes, frettes, relâche…) totalement réglables et assignables. Les samples sons bons, leur étendue est large et les possibilités assez impressionnantes. Sur les acoustiques d'AmpleSound, on obtient quelque chose de très proche du naturel. A nous de nous débrouiller pour sortir le meilleur. La machine propose beaucoup de solutions et c'est une question de travail. Si on préfère, on peut se mettre à la guitare… Mais c'est plus long. C'est au choix.
Sur les électriques, on regrettera une seule position de micro et pas d'accès au mélangeur (Une Stratocaster avec un seul micro, c'est assez light). Cependant toute une gamme de réglages permet de palier à certains manques.
Edit : Les plugs ont été augmenté en qualité. Plusieurs positions de micro, des nouveaux effets avec choix d'amplis et des micros. Bien mieux. Et on conserve les ancien plugs à part. (intéressant si on joue à deux Strat par ex.

Les vrais plus, c'est que le jeu se fait naturellement : deux notes ne sonneront pas en même temps sur le même corde (à moins de le vouloir) et beaucoup de sonorités et de réglages permettent d'approcher sensiblement ce qu'on cherche. On a la possibilité de choisir sur quelle corde se jouera telle note et donc de placer les doigts où l'on veut sur le manche.
Reste que pour le prix et quand on n'est pas guitariste (comme c'est mon cas), c'est très bon et, franchement, je m'amuse.

Ample sound schafft es eine klare Linie zu fahren.
Es verzichtet auf zu viel Schnick Schnack und orientiert sich anders als andere, sehr an der Praxis.
Die Gitarrenklänge sind zum Teil für normale Ohren nicht mehr zu unterscheiden. Strumming, picking etc ebenfalls einstellbar.
Was sehr hilfreich ist, ist der Piano Modus, denn hier können selbst schwingende Saiten, doppelt angespielt werden. Anders als bei echten Gitarren.
Es hat ausserdem einen weiteren Aspekt. Dieses Plugin kann hervorragend zum Üben verwendet werden, da es die angespielten Saiten in Echtzeit anzeigt. Man kann also komponieren und einfach nachspielen.
So kann man sich zum bsp diverse Midi Melodien im Netz laden, lädt diese ins Plugin und kann somit deutlich einfacher als mit YouTube etc sein Lieblingslied lernen.
Mittlerweile habe ich 8 verschiedene Apple Sounds, vor allem die Akustgitarren gefallen mir. Mein Favorit wenn es um Gitarrensounds geht.

Sound Top, jedoch muss man sich erst einmal zurechtzufinden. Die Bedienung benötigt demnach ein wenig Eingewöhnungszeit. Es gibt sehr gute Pre-Sets andere wiederum klingen nicht besonders... Für einen guten Rythmus Sound aber völlig ausreichend. Inkludiert sind ebenfalls Effekte wie Reverb, Delay … alles was man benötigt. In meiner DAW Cubase muss man das VST-Instrument 50 ms vor stellen (also so einstellen, dass es 50 ms früher spielt) weil durch die lange Latenz das Instrument ansonsten zu spät wiedergegeben werden würde und nicht in Time wäre! Nicht schlimm, aber sollte man wissen :-)
Insgesamt aber eine klare Kaufempfehlung!
