Had to return - not suitable for Telecasters
Ed_D 05.02.2021
I had high hopes for this stand, but unfortunately it just didn't fix my issue so I had to return it. My acoustic guitar and telecaster were just on 2 floor stands, and I thought that this stand would help to save a bit of space.

While the padding is a nice feature and stops the guitars banging against each other, there were however a couple of major problems:
- The legs on this stand have to be expanded as wide as possible for it to be stable, which means that the stand takes up a considerable amount of space (even more that the 2 "regular" floor stands that I already had").
- Far more of an issue was that the holder is too wide for guitars with narrow headstocks (such as my telecaster). If you are very delicate, you can angle the holder in such a way that the guitar will just about sit in, but I felt very unsafe leaving the telecaster hanging like that. If anything brushed off the telecaster, it would slip down and be left being supported on one side by the lowest tuning peg.

If I only had guitars with wide headstocks to hang then I would have given this a higher review, but it simply is not suitable for Telecasters!

youknow.. when it comes to offering my guitar a good and stable way to lay low while not in use I need a stand thats not heavy as a big rock but stable and solid.

in fact I already had five k&m stands in my hs before. and after all my well known experience with the brands products I also chose k&m once more.

the 17620 double guitar stand does a great job for me cauz I plan to expand my guitar send with one e guitar (to use the two way function of the stand). for now I got a half accoustic guitar with steel strings and the cable plugged into the right bottom side of the instrument. for long time I used a ground stand of k&m. those stands are cool for unplugged accoustic guitars but with that cable I had problems and I dont like pluggin so I needed another stand to have some space for that cable when having my git unused.

its totally cool what k&m does. like I said I got six (including this one) of k&m stands and they ALL DO GREAT!! epic bottomline, thanks to the brand!

Strong and durable

I am buying the same one after year and half, cause now I need two of them. It does not take too much space and holds my guitars as it should. The protective foam there is a nice add-on, so your guitars will not bang against each other.
