It’s just really oke, nothing special in my opinion.
There’s no master volume so you can’t crank the volume into the rubes to het saturation because you can’t control the volume after the tubes, so the volume coming out of the preamp will be way to loud.
I knew this when I bought it, but though it would still give me some character, but it’s so minimal it’s not really worth it.
I returned it because in a mix you can’t hear the difference between this and a basic external sound card.
If you don’t own any preamps, this could be a good option because there’s really nothing wrong with them.

Gekauft. Unboxing und Hörbeispiele gibt es auf YouTube zu sehen/hören.
Im direkten Vergleich mit dem Tegeler Audio VTRC,.... Einfach super. Mehr Hörproben und ein direkter Vergleich gibt es auf YouTube. Das schafft kein anderer Hersteller. Das Teil müsste deutlich teurer sein. Ein "No-Brainer"-Deal !!!

Habe ein Behringer Wing. Die PreAmps sind ok, haben aber wenig Gain.
Habe auch ein Behringer MIC2200. Das ist aber ein wenig eine Mogelpackung, was die Röhre betrifft. Das Midas XL4-2 ist eine „echte“ Röhrenschaltung. Die LED Beleuchtung hätten sie weg lassen können. Die Röhren leuchten selber. Nun zur Funktion: das Teil macht ordentlich Pegel ohne Rauschen und ist transparenter als das Behringer. Und die Air Schaltung ist das Sahnehäubchen oben drauf. Mein Fazit: Für den Preis ein No Brainer.
