Liked it so much, I bought a second one

I usually prefer long scale guitars, but the Contender just sings!
Headstock just slightly angled, gives good tension on the nut. Pups, (p-90’s),
very dynamic, easy to make the guitar talk. Set neck, good sustain. Manipulating the tone and bass roll of knobs you can get a world of tones,
out of phase funk, jazzy bassy… Pups not very noisy unless you’re right next to a big tube amp. 3m away, silent. Contender is vey light, and well balanced. Stays in tune as good as a Tele. Sounds like heaven through a good tube amp w/ 12” speakers.
