Roland RD-08

+++ Klänge: Die Qualität und die Auswahlmöglichkeiten der Sounds (bei Roland "Tones" genannt) sind immens. Da können die meisten anderen Hersteller einpacken.

++ Mobilität: Das Instrument ist schmal und relativ leicht. Man kann es also noch gut alleine tragen.

- Bedienung: Die Knöpfe und Regler machen zwar einen zuverlässigen Eindruck. Die Kehrseite der immensen Auswahlmöglichkeit an Sounds ist aber, dass man doch einige Zeit braucht, um sich einzuarbeiten. Das ist zwar alles logisch aufgebaut, aber nicht unbedingt sehr intuitiv. Leider fehlt Bluetooth und damit die Möglichkeit, per Remote-App für mehr Übersicht und Komfort zu sorgen. Manche Features sind schon etwas kompliziert zu erreichen, wie z.B. das unabhängige Definieren dreier Sound-Layer-Zonen übereinander, was gar nicht in der deutschen Anleitung erklärt wird, sondern was man erstmal im noch herunterzuladenden englischen "Parameter-Guide" herausfinden muss. Wer das ganze Potential aller Möglichkeiten des Instruments ausschöpfen will, muss sich also auf diese Einarbeitungszeit einlassen.

+ Konnektivität: Wie gesagt: Bluetooth fehlt. Ansonsten ist alles da, was man normalerweise benötigt. Das Fehlen von Midi-In und Midi-Thru ist unerheblich.

- Funktionen: Wenn man sie beherrscht (!), sind viele Einstellungen konfigurier- und speicherbar. Das ist gut. Neben dem simplen Metronom gibt es aber leider keine zuschaltbaren Schlagzeug-Begleitrhythmen verschiedener Stile. Das finde ich sehr schade. Hätte ich gern gehabt und wäre doch auch kein großer Aufwand gewesen. Auch eine Record-Funktion fehlt. Komisch.

+ Tastatur: Zwar nicht wirklich wie bei einem akustischen Klavier, aber leichtgängig und angenehm. Die realistische Variation des Klangcharakters je nach Anschlagsstärke ist toll für Jazzer, aber vielleicht etwas zu "knallig" für Klassiker, aber auch das ist konfigurierbar.

- Interne Lautsprecher: Benutze ich kaum. Es ist doch klar, das bei einem solch kleinen Instrument, dass v.a. auf Mobilität ausgelegt ist, nichts Großes erwartet werden kann. Deswegen habe ich diese Abwertung auch nicht in meine "Sound-Bewertung" einfließen lassen. Wenn sich die phantastischen Klänge des Instruments entfalten sollen, braucht man eben einen guten Kopfhörer oder eine gute Stereo-Anlage.

Il est très étonnant de constater que sur un appareil de ce prix il n'y ait pas de porte partition. Même pas en option !!!!!!

Dans quel monde vivent les ingénieurs concepteurs chez Roland ?
Les partitions papier existent encore au moins pour les répétitions ! Tout n'est pas toujours inscrit sur une tablette ou un ordi, qui, soit dit en passant ne trouve pas plus de place sur le clavier.

I bought the RD-08 as a simple, relatively cheap replacement piano, for little gigs with my Bluesband. I had had Rolands before (two of the early RD-series), so I was hoping for more of the same: a robust digital piano, with a sturdy keyboard (and non the issues I have had with keybeds of other manufactuers) and piano and e-piano sounds that are (surprisingly) capable when played in a band setting.

The RD-08 did not disappoint. It is a real workhorse, lighter that it looks (actually highly mobile), with a good/great keybed, a very nice grand piano sound and a few really good electric piano sounds - especially for the price. A clear recommendation on that front.

And the little speakers are good enough to save you some money for a "PA" when playing at home.

I never used much of the strings/pads/brass/synth stuff, so I cannot comment on that, tbh.

Bottom line: If you "just" need a good piano/e-piano for your daily use, plus a good/great keybed that won't spoil your fun of playing the piano, then take the RD-08 into consideration.

Llevo 2 semanas con él y le doy las 5 estrellas en base a su precio. Es lo que yo buscaba: un piano de escenario con sonidos de "workstation" a precio asequible.
A continuación escribo mis opiniones sobre las principales características por las cuales lo compré.
_El teclado PHA-4 es de sobra conocido (bastante "pesado" para mí pero cuanto más tiempo toco me voy acostumbrando) y con varias opciones de 'key touch' que puedes optimizar según el sonido que uses.
_En cuanto a los sonidos, tiene varios pianos, EPianos y sintes muy buenos. Yo también necesito algunos vientos, cuerdas, órganos y acordeones que ya tengo en mi segundo teclado, pero en el RD-08 también los hay aprovechables (Creo que trae más de 1000 sonidos, los cuales no pienso escuchar uno por uno...) Además, con un poco de paciencia, se pueden editar en su pequeña pantalla y usar hasta 3 de estos sonidos en capas o split, lo cual me viene muy bien para los directos. (O asignar una capa a mi segundo teclado vía MIDI out).
_La construcción, como es de esperar en este precio, se ve plástico pero muy robusto. Para mí ideal porque voy a utilizarlo en directo y es muy ligero para ser 88 teclas contrapesadas.
En resumen: en principio estoy muy contento. Dentro de un año, tras las actuaciones del verano, podré valorar su construcción y funcionamiento.
