La capsule MK22 est une capsule au son naturel, avec un aigu très doux et des basses bien présentes, je les ai acheté pour une utilisation en spot mic sur les 1er et 2nd violons en orchestre, mais cette capsule est assez polyvalente, très bien en claviers d'orchestre, ou piano et guitare en studio. super en piano droit aussi !

la directivité est légèrement plus large qu'un cardio traditionnel, ce qui lui permet un effet de proximité un peu plus atténué qu'avec une MK4 standard, c'est en fait un micro qui se situe exactement entre la MK4 et la MK21. (pour schématiser , le son de la MK21 avec une directivité plus proche de la MK4)
le rapport signal bruit est excellent : 14dB-A
