The Shure Motiv MVX2U Gen 2 introduces the second generation of one of the most compact audio interfaces available and combines a small form factor with a range of updated features for improved recording and streaming performance. New additions include an Auto-Level mode, real-time denoising, and the Digital Popper Stopper, all of which provide flexible internal audio processing controlled via Shure's MOTIV apps. The integrated DAC has also been refined, resulting in a lower noise floor for cleaner signal quality. Recent settings are automatically stored, ensuring that the preferred sound profile remains available even when changing between different setups. Internal signal processing
The Shure Motiv MVX2U Gen 2 provides up to 60dB of gain and a noise floor of -117dB, delivering a clean signal for high-quality recordings and streams. Phantom power at 48V can be activated via the MOTIV apps to support the use of condenser microphones, while the same software also provides access to the interface's additional processing features. These include Auto-Level mode for maintaining consistent recording levels, the real-time denoiser for reducing unwanted background noise, and the Digital Popper Stopper for minimising plosive sounds. Thanks to its plug-and-play functionality, the Shure Motiv MVX2U Gen 2 transforms almost any microphone into a ready-to-use recording and streaming solution. The included USB-C cable allows it to be connected to tablets and smartphones for high-quality mobile recording with minimal equipment. Since settings are stored internally, the selected sound profile remains available even when changing microphones or setups. Any adjustments can be made quickly and easily via the MOTIV apps, which also provide access to further processing tools such as an equaliser, a compressor, a limiter, and a high-pass filter for refined broadcast-style audio. Firmware updates can also be installed via the apps, ensuring continued access to improvements and additional features.

About Shure
The American company Shure began developing microphones during the early 1930s and is one of the pioneers of the audio engineering sector.
