Du bon et du mauvais.

J'en rêvais, Soundman l'a fait (Gag)

Je vais commencer par le bon. Bonne qualité du son. Excellente restitution de l'espace stéréophonique. Grande sensibilité (beaucoup trop importante pour une entrée microphone ? On sature trop facilement l'entrée) Bon rapport signal/bruit (à priori, pas ou très peu de souffle). Efficace, léger et discret. Idéal pour enregistrer des sons de marchés, d'un feu d'artifice, d'un concert acoustique, l'ambiance d'un bar, d'un quai de gare, d'une promenade en forêt et autres. (Attention de ne pas bouger intempestivement la tête durant les prises. Fort risque d'instabilité du paysage sonore)

Il lui manque un accessoire crucial mais qui reste à inventer, "un faux casque dans le style Walkman" non équipé de HP et qui permettrait d'y loger les écouteur (ouvertures vers l'extérieur du casque), ainsi il ne risquerait pas de tomber des oreilles et resterait absolument discret.

Un inconvénient, sa très grande sensibilité qui lors d'un concert de percussions, "saturait l'entrée micro" de mon recorder Olympus LS11 malgré l'atténuateur -20 dB enclenché et malgré le niveau d'enregistrement à 1 ! J'aurais dû acquérir l'alimentation atténuateur pour le brancher en ligne mais du coup on multiplie les risques de faux contacts de l'ensemble.

Beaucoup plus grave, les écouteurs qui selon la configuration du lobe de l'oreille, se décroche sans arrêt ! Incroyable que sur un gadget de ce prix il n'aient pas conçu des tétines qui pénètrent dans le conduit auditif et qui tiennent sérieusement dans l'oreille, quelle qu'en soit la forme. J'aurais dû en fait me rabattre sur le modèle moins sensible !

Encore plus grave, Le câble incroyablement bruyant et qui véhicule tout léger frottement de celui-ci avec les vêtements. Utilisez une des 2 petites pinces de fixation pour fixer le conducteur au revers de votre veste de manière à ce qu'il n'y ait plus de transmission de frottement par le conducteur entre le recorder et la pince.

Regret : Pourquoi Thomann n'indique-t-il pas la sensibilité de ces microphones ? C'est tout de même un critère primordial ?

Interessantes Mikrofon mit ein paar Schwächen

Das OKM benutze ich hauptsächlich für Atmo-Aufnahmen für Filme und Hörspiele. Dafür hat es zwei entscheidende Vorteile:

1. Es ist sehr kompakt und lässt sich leicht überall mitnehmen. Es eignet sich deshalb sehr gut für "Schnappschüsse", wenn einem ein interessanter Klang begegnet.

2. Man kann sehr unauffällig aufnehmen. Insbesondere auf öffentlichen Plätzen ist es sehr hilfreich, wenn nicht ständig "Sind Sie vom Radio" auf der Aufnahme zu hören ist, oder alle Passanten sofort ehrfürchtig verstummen, weil sie einen fetten Windkorb sehen.

Dies allein lohnt die Anschaffung.

Ein großes Problem ist allerdings die relativ große Windempfindlichkeit. Ein leichter Wind genügt schon, um die Aufnahme zu versauen.

Die Verarbeitung ist mäßig, die Kabel sehr dünn. Die Mikrofone sind in sehr einfachen Plastikkapseln eingebaut. Bei meinem ersten Modell, was ich mir vor ein paar Jahren gekauft hatte, war irgendwann ein Mikrofon vom Kabel abgerissen, ohne dass ich es sorglos behandelt hätte, ich hatte es einfach nur oft benutzt.

Natürlich ist es auch ein sehr billiges Stereomikrofon, was sich leider in der Verabeitung und in einem nicht unerheblichen Rauschen bemerkbar macht. Ich muss die Aufnahmen immer noch nachbearbeiten, bevor sie wirklich gut klingen.

Hört man sie dann später über Kopfhörer, ist das Ergebnis aber wirklich sehr beindruckend. Der Kunstkopfklang ist wirklich ein Erlebnis.

Fazit: Ein sehr spezielles Mikro, aber durchaus brauchbar.

Ostin Soundman Classic Solon korvanappimikkisetin lähinnä kahteen tarkoitukseen: binauraalisten äänitehosteiden äänittämiseen ja ympäröivän ambienssin äänittämiseen tilanteissa joissa näkyvästi mikrofonin kanssa huseeraaminen tuntuisi kiusalliselta. Musiikin äänittämistä olen testannut joskus keinopäällä konserttisalissa. Molemmissa tilanteissa Soundman toimi varsin hyvin mutta kovaäänistä rockin räimettä en ole testannut. Kotona olen testannut sitä akustisten instrumenttien mikittämiseen mutta päätynyt aina käyttämään muita nappimikkejä Soundmanin sijasta. Syy tähän enimmäkseen on mikrofonielementtien rakenne, ne on tehty nimenomaan korvissa pidettäviksi.
Kenttä-äänityksessä Soundmanin ehdoton vahvuus on diskreettisyys. Nappeihin kiinnitettävät pehmusteet saavat ne näyttämään nappikuulokkeilta (tosin hieman vanhahtavilta kuulokkeilta) eikä herätä kiusallista huomiota. Korvatuntuma on hieman heppoinen mutta pysyvät hyvin paikallaan kun asettaa ne kunnolla eikä kohdista vetopainetta mikrofonin johtoihin. Kovassa käytössä pehmusteet kuluvat loppuun parissa vuodessa (tosin itse käytän varovaisen käsittelyn andiosta vielä viiden vuoden jälkeenkin alkuperäisiä pehmusteita). Binauraalisten tehosteiden laatutekijät liityvät poikkeuksetta lähes aina itse äänitystilanteisiin, ei niinkään mikrofoneihin.
Ainoat miinukset tulevat ensinnäkin tuulisuojauksesta (pehmusteet eivät riitä blokkaamaan edes kohtuullista tuulen virettä), sekä hieman "luonteettomasta" ja tasapaksusta soundista (herkkyys sinänsä on ihan hyvä hieman hiljaisemmassakin ambienssissa).
Ekstrakiitokset itse tuotepaketista: tukeva puukotelo ja muovinen pikkukotelo mikrofonin siistiin säilyttämiseen. Tosin tulee mieleen, voisiko Soundman valmistaa myös halvempia "karvalakkiversioita" ilman puukoteloa.
Summa summarum: käytännöllinen huomaamattomaan binauraaliseen kenttätallennukseen tai vaihtoehtoisesti binauraaliseen konserttitallennukseen, ei niinkään studiomikrofoniksi.
