Je souhaitais un micro au son “larger than life” et c’est exactement ce que propose ce micro. Une belle présence, moins nasillard qu’un U87AI par exemple, mais la même tonalité qu’un Neumann. Les différentes directivités et le pad -10db en font un micro versatile pour différentes prises de son. Niveau accessoires c’est excellent, boîte en bois, suspensions, élastiques de rechange c’est parfait. Un petit bémol sur les suspensions qu’il faut serrer très fort car le micro est particulièrement lourd et grand, plus qu’un U87..
Au final j’ai opté pour la version noire car il y a trop de micros bas de gamme avec un design silver et le noir fait largement plus classe. Au niveau des finitions je dirais qu il y a un peu de jeu dans l’alignement des switch mais c’est vraiment du pinaillage. Ce micro a sa propre personnalité et je le trouve plus agréable à l’écoute qu’un U87AI surtout pour des voix aiguës ou alto et soprano. Les hautes fréquences ne sont jamais crispantes et l’ensemble du spectre est bien définit. Convient parfaitement pour mon usage.
