Excellent build quality and extremely sturdy. Bit heavy though!

I have bought this to use with my Nord Electro 5D 73 and it suits the keyboard perfectly. It is extremely stable and relatively easy to set up and take down. This is the first table style stand I have owned, coming previously from X-stands, and I must say I wish I had bought it years ago. The leg room underneath is liberating - no more hitting shins/knees off the X frame and it looks ten times better when on stage. The only negative points I have about it is that you need to use a Hex key (supplied with stand) to lower or raise the leg height. This is not so much a problem if you bring your own keyboard stool to gigs which I do, but if you use different height stools then taking out the hex key and adjusting the legs under pressure in a dark venue would not be ideal. The stand also weighs much more than conventional X stands, although the trade off is an extremely sturdy and great looking stand. The stand is well designed for use with accessories, i.e. K&M stackers/laptop stand 18815 (which I don't recommend!) and other stands. I would recommend this product.

Pros
- Very solid and sturdy when setup - Doesn't move or wobble in any way
- Easy to use - A little fiddly when tightening and undoing feet, but that's necessary to keep it secured so well
Cons
- None

Rugged and stable
emcgon 13.08.2023
I love K&M gear: it is so sturdy and well-made that you just know that when the apocalypse comes, all of the K&M microphone and instrument stands will survive with barely a scratch ! This keyboard stand is no exception: it is just heavy enough to be rock-solid while still being light and compact enough to be transportable. If you can "set-and-forget" the leg height, it should be possible to set it up and tear it down with minimal faffing around. Something that isn't clear from the product description is that it comes with stick-on rubber pads to sit between the metal surface of the stand and the bottom of the keyboard, so that the keyboard doesn't slide around. It also comes with three Velcro cable-ties. Small things, but those were unexpected and welcome bonuses. It's not the prettiest thing in the world and I was tempted by the Omega Pro which (IMHO) looks better. But this one is lighter, cheaper and seems like it might be more stable). I'm very happy with it.
