Upgrading to the Apollo Twin X USB from the Focusrite Clarett Pre 2USB has been a significant step up in my recording and production capabilities. The superior audio quality, coupled with the power of UAD plug-ins and ease of use, makes it an excellent choice for serious home studio enthusiasts and professionals alike. I also bought the Lindy USB 3.2 Cable Typ A/C 1.5m for the connection. At first i was afraid because i read a lot of reviews about the connection between the apollo and the windows compatibility but it was really easy and Universal Audio has everything you want to know. You just need a good cable and a usb 3.0 superspeed.

Keine Probleme mit Windows und sein Geld wert

Vorher hatte ich das SPL Crimson 3 in Gebrauch und man hört den Unterschied auf jeden Fall. Meine Monitore lösen besser auf in den Höhen und der Preamp/Wandler überträgt das aufgenommene Signal rauscharmer und auch detaillierter. Das Upgrade hat sich also gelohnt.

Bei Windows gab es bisher keine Schwierigkeiten. Ich nutze es mit Reaper, FL Studio und in Vegas Pro für die Videobearbeitung.

1 Stern Abzug, weil nur ein Kopfhörerausgang dabei ist.
Und was mich nervt, ist dass alle verfügbaren UAD Plugins gelistet und vorinstalliert werden, um einen "anzufixen". Man kann sie nämlich alle kostenfrei antesten ;-) In der UAD Controllersoftware kann ich die ungewünschten Plugins dann einfach auf nicht sichtbar stellen. Etwas mühselig, aber machbar. In meiner DAW listet er aber alle fleißig auf und dadurch wird es etwas unübersichtlich.

Aber alles in allem ein super Teil und zu empfehlen.
