Early feedback

Earlsfield, 24.05.2018
Still in the process of exploring all aspects of this unit but so far very impressed. The manual is clear and concise which makes life a lot easier when starting up. Sound quality is good and build quality also impressive from what I can see on the outside. Control via foot controls is pretty intuitive and I have started using the Behringer FCB1010 to give me more flexibility and the midi implemenation information supplied in the manual is easy to understand and it does give you more choices for live performance. Will post more once I have spent a few more weeks with the unit....

Looper yes, not performance!

Lutz470, 25.05.2018
After watching the videos, I thought wow, that's exactly what I want. 6 tracks plus master track is a nice feature for a looper. There can sometimes invest 600 ¤, where I had already tried a lot of looper, but in the end always returned to my Boomerang +. Now salvation should finally come;). I always had a bow to the RC-300, maybe it was a mistake. So now for evaluation:
My setup:
I go with the LE Crunch of Two Notes with active speaker simulation in the input of the 95000 and with the output in the Schertler David.

Plus:
The sound is totally convincing. There are hardly any differences between the looped signal and the looped signal. That's remarkable, and the Boomerang does not do that well.
The recording of the tracks is also very straightforward, 3 switches for Record, Play / Stop and Undo and you do not need to enter Morse code.
The well-rehearsed drum loops are not very extensive but of good quality. Only the setting of the speed is not so easy, because the fader is not very sensitive and the display always jumps over quickly in the identification of the loop. Alternatively, you can tap, but then you do not see soft value you've tapped.

Minus:
Although it is possible to record 6 tracks and then change them later in the pan and in the volume, but you can not mute a track with your feet. There is only the possibility with the foot to operate the fader, but one gives up at some point, because the faders are too close together and in the live use too much error is made.
That means if I have taken an A part and then I want to switch to the B part I have to activate a new loop. Of course I can do that with the loop up and down switch. Of course I want to use the same drum loop, of course at the same tempo. If I do not want to enter the drum loop manually (Micro or Knock on the guitar), or that would not repeat exactly in the next loop, I need a computer that I connect via USB and then the drum loop of my A-part loop on copy the B-part loop. (You realize it gets complicated). Since this is not so easy (my Macbook does not always recognize the new drive immediately and the copy process is not done in 1 minute), you can do that shortly before the live performance. Ultimately, that means I can always loop only with an A-part. If I came up with the idea during the game to change to the B-part, loop it and then return to the A-part with the same drumloop, I would have to take a break. The only way is to use the Undo button to mute the looped signal. Then I can only play the B-part ungeloopt and have to do without further tracks. But I do not pay 600¤. RC-300 and Boomerang can;) Now you could argue, ok, everything is just not possible live. Then you have to make preparations. Possibly. previously DRUM creates loops in the memory or on the SD card copy. But that's the toughest job ever. You can not just copy audio files into the respective LOOP folder. You have to create 6 track files (mono, 16 bit resolution and 44.1 kHz sample rate), create or copy a Tempo.TXT file and enter the bpm and a stereo TRACKM audio file. Take a look at the entries in the EHX Forum, none has succeeded so far.
There is a wonderful EHX demo video https: // [LINK]
At 3:45 Patrick Cupo switches to another loop. Until then, he has shown how to build the previous loop super awesome. Then comes exactly what I have described, namely to switch to the B-part. Only he had already prepared and nothing created just like that.
Of course you can spend another 200 ¤ for a Midicontroller and try to mute the tracks via midi. You can buy two 95000 acu to switch between A and B.

... But you can also send back the 95000 performance loop laboratory!
