I preffer this one to all other similar and even way more expensive pneumatic stands because of few reasons:
1. It's easy to operate with the handle - works perfect even with slight turn and tights the upper part of the stand perfect.
2. Simplicity is geniousity - simple parts, nothing to breack easy.
3. Doesn't distruct the singers - find the right height for you before session and leave it as it is. Lead singers tend to do that unconscious "play" with the lever of the pneumatic stands, which is somethnig distracting for most of them and amortize the stand - I've seen brocken pneumatic stands used only in a studio.
This stand is my second one I'm buyng for my singers and I woun't stop recomend it.

It?s all about the base....

As an annoyingly clumsy person I would spend most of my time in the booth (bloody hot right now due to the worryingly atypical UK weather) falling over tripod stands and causing my sweaty enclosure to collapse every few minutes. Thanks to the advanced ?heavy piece of metal? technology deployed in this support, even cack-handed oafs like me can spend extended periods before the mic in an optimal vertical configuration, rather than the ?carpet-eating? format. I?ve bought a couple so far. Just add one or two boom arms (though be careful not to over-extend them otherwise they will tip), and I?m ready to go. Well-made, solid, reliable.

Ben80: Hercules Stands MS 202 B
Ben80 29.10.2021
It is a great mic stand with good stability & durability at an affordable price. I used it for a studio recording microphone & paired it with an acoustic diffuser screen shield. Highly recommend this product. Thanks to Thomann also for their service.

Does its job, No More, No Less

For its price you've got what you need no more. It can be use easily, it's stable enough for an average use but no more.
I've used it with a voicelive Touch2 and it fitted the use perfectly.
