Neumann TLM 107 bk Studio Set

I really can't rate it anything less than 5 stars, as it is an excellent mic with excellent sound. The build quality is spectacular, exactly what you expect from Neumann. I feel the conviction to wash my hands before I touch it, so as not to even mar the surface with one single fingerprint smudge. The only thing negative I can say about it is that I don't understand the design choice of lights to indicate the polar pattern, pad, and LF rolloff selections. I much prefer a design that shows at a glance the chosen selections. This mic will show your selection for a bit, and then it turns the lights off to not be a distraction. But being able to see your settings with a quick glance is very helpful. As it is, I need to press the joystick to have them come to life to see what setting it's on. Just one extra step to "measure twice, and cut once". If there was an option to choose if the lights stay on or not, that would be great. Don't get me wrong though, the whole design of the switch and lights is beautiful, is very classy and sleek, but maybe not 100% practical.

I’ve been very impressed with this microphone. The sound is natural, detailed, and balanced without sounding overly bright or artificially enhanced. Vocals come through clearly and realistically, making it a great choice for professional recording.

One of my favorite features is the set of controls directly on the microphone. Being able to quickly adjust the polar pattern, engage the high-pass filter, or use the pad without changing anything else in the signal chain is incredibly convenient and makes the microphone much more versatile.

The build quality is excellent and it feels like a truly professional piece of equipment. It has been reliable throughout my use and performs consistently in different recording situations.

Overall, a fantastic microphone with a very natural sound character and extremely practical onboard controls. Highly recommended.

Acheté chez Thomann pour enregistrer des voix, ce micro est d'une neutralité spectrale impressionnante. C'est le son de la voix et rien d'autre. La suspension est pratique pour la voix avec une partie du cercle ouvert permettant un rapprochement du chanteur.
La qualité du produit est du Neumann, pas de surprise de ce côté.
Les réglages associés des 5 directionnels disponibles, des atténuateurs et du filtre coupe bas sont simples à comprendre et à mettre en œuvre. La documentation est aisé à comprendre aussi. Juste que ces réglages restent opérationnels au branchement du micro pendant une quinzaine de secondes. Faut pas traîner pour modifier les réglages. LOL.
Certes, le prix n'est pas donné mais le produit en vaut sa valeur.
En conclusion, ce micro est impressionnant par sa qualité et son rendu sonore. Excellent investissement.
