Great Curtain

This curtain will not soundproof an area but it will do a good job dampening the sound. I find it takes the initial 'whack' out of a drum kit and also helps kill reflections in a room. I plan on buying another one of these for my home studio to box off the corner I record drums in. These are perfect for creating a vocal booth or contain noise that would be let out by doors/windows etc. I'f you found yourself looking at it then buy it.

I found these curtains by chance while looking at acoustic treatment for my home studio. Needed sonething to cover my window and at the same time didn't want to board it up - have a great view from my studio. These curtains are a god send - real acoustic treatment in a curtain. The fabric does what it's supose to do, id muffles the sound a bit, for arround 10 db if the sorce is 3m away. It is of good quality but for some reason the one I got has a very strong sent to it.
I'll probably take it to the dry cleaners and try to get the smell out but I am not shure what will that do to the fabric.
